| This course is a serious attempt to prepare teachers to deliver Business Studies for the first time. It includes direct instruction on how to teach elasticity, accounts & ratios, investment appraisal, motivation and many other key topics. It also gives chapter and verse on student motivation and on student success - focusing on exam technique. Guest speakers in 2011 included Mike Pickerden, Principal Examiner AQA Unit 3 and Paul Hoang of Sha Tin College, Hong Kong, to talk about I.B., and about FUN in business lessons. Delegates receive a memory stick with a huge wealth of resources from the Marcouse computer. |
