A-Z Business Training started when AQA refused to run a training course for New Business Teachers. Ian Marcouse decided to run his own (in conjunction with Gwen Coates). Since then (1997) the business has expanded to run student conferences and an email subscription service called Topical Cases. The company (A-Z Business Training Ltd) is run by Ian Marcouse and Maureen Marcouse.

A-Z Business Training tries hard to:

• Devise lively, thoughtful programmes that reflect the real needs and wants of students and teachers
• Show awareness of and empathy for the practical problems of real teachers, e.g. collecting cash from kids
• Provide the best programmes and catering that is possible within the venues used
• For teacher training courses, provide outstanding venues and catering - to celebrate what we all deserve
