1. What Is Topical Cases?
Topical Cases is a monthly email subscription service providing you with bang up to date classroom materials hot off Ian Marcouse's computer. It is written for Advanced Level students: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC and CCEA, plus International Baccaleureate and Scottish Highers. Some teachers also use it for BTEC qualifications.
2. Examples of Topical Cases
In 2007/8 there were cases on: people management, marketing, break-even and profit in the context of Harley Davidson, market segmentation, seasonality, capacity utilisation, strategic decision making, investment appraisal, operations management . All have exam-style questions and full exam marks schemes. In addition, Ian produced revision tests, extra worksheets and provided updates on the 2008 changes coming in for A Level. All were emailed at the start of each teaching month.

Reasons to subscribe: Topicality - to add an extra dimension to the resources that support our teaching. Books, magazines and photocopiable packs can never be really up-to-date. In addition Ian includes a great deal of other material, including tests, mini-cases, student competitions, worksheets and teacher updates.
